Instead, we found each other, built a home, planted roots, started businesses, filled our lives with projects (and somehow even more projects), welcomed our daughter, adopted more ideas than any sane person should, and created a life we absolutely love.

Somewhere along the way we realized...

"We should probably get married, huh?"

​

So, here we are.

​

And because doing things backwards has worked pretty well for us so far, we figured we'd keep the tradition alive.

​

That's why we're having the reception first.

We'd rather spend the afternoon doing what we love most: sharing great food, listening to music, playing yard games, catching up with friends and family, and simply enjoying the people who mean the most to us.

​

Then, as twilight settles over Oliver Holler and the lights begin to glow in the trees, we'll gather together for the reason we invited everyone in the first place...

...to finally say "I do."

Thank you for joining us, not just for our wedding, but for the beginning of what we hope becomes a tradition for many years to come.
